Please Prevent Dream Burn Out – Only You Can

I know, it’s the first week of January and yet I’m already feeling some goal burn out, dream burn out, 2012 getting you down.

Today, after yoga, I was feeling a bit stiff and sore, and underneath that, a little resentful.

And underneath that, a chewy teenager “screw this” attitude.

Hmmm, I thought, this particular flavor of resentful is familiar… Where have I felt this before?

Oh yes! (smotes forehead) Only every time I try to do too much too fast and smack myself for not already being there.

This mood is an early warning that I have left the land of enoughness and the hounds of more, more, more are at my heels.

Are you feeling pressured about 2012?

Taking on too many areas of change at once?

Trying to do the near impossible every day?

Ending each day with a list of what didn’t get done?
