Secrets to Time Investment with Elizabeth Saunders

Elizabeth Saunders is the founder and CEO of Real Life E® a time coaching and training company that empowers individuals who feel guilty, overwhelmed and frustrated to feel peaceful, confident and accomplished. Elizabeth has appeared in Inc magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Forbes and on NBC and is a contributor to Harvard Business Review, Lifehacker, and 99U.

Okay – confession time. Elizabeth contacted me to ask for an interview. I didn’t answer – I was on sabbatical. She sent me the book. I still didn’t email her back. You see, I had just written this post and the last thing I wanted to do was think about time management.

Weeks passed and then, one night, I picked up the book. And I found Elizabeth wasn’t offering me another complicated time management plan – thankfully – but a way to look at time that took into account my shame, my guilt, and my unrealistic thoughts about what I thought I could do.

You mean other people think they can do 12 hours of work in 6 and then feel badly about themselves when they can’t, too? Really?

Listen to this super passionate gal as she shares how to practice time investment and ditch time management forever.  You just might find yourself creating a whole new story about time!

Do you have an affiliate link to the book, Jen? I’d love to pick up a copy, and really appreciate your bringing it to my attention!

I adore, adore, adore these interviews. Thank you.

(*whispers in a small, small voice*… is there any way you could mute your mic when you are typing during the interviews? It really distracts from the interview, at least on my speakers. I apologize, I am just easily distracted…)

tiny voice: yes! thanks for asking. I need a better recording set up. I put it on my list. I so appreciate your gentle feedback.
